Don't worry, I'm still kicking. So is the baby. We are all here and doing well. And yes, I'm still cooking, but I haven't been in a "try something new" mood. I've actually not been in an eating mood. I told Adam to tell me if I started starving the family. But I can really live off a waffle in the morning, half a sandwich at lunch, and a simple dinner. My stomach is being crowded by this giant baby and my usual favorites (Mexican food and spicy food) give me really bad heartburn. I like to spend any spare time that I have laying in bed. It feels so good to be stretched out and have the pressure released from my ribs and feet. I've got 4 weeks left. We've been busy doing last minute projects and preparing for the baby, which is hard to do with these two girls hanging around.

After breakfast playtime. I was thrilled the other morning when Aubrie asked me for French Toast for breakfast. Just happens to be my favorite. I really enjoy making breakfast and it doesn't bother me being a short order cook for this crowd. |

The other day Aubrie asked me to put her hair in "piggy tails". So that meant Emilie wanted some too. Her hair is getting really long because those were some pointy tails. And Aubrie really has some curly hair because at the end of the rainy day, her hair looked like two little poofs. |
So back to our projects. Do you remember when we tiled our back splash with the Sundstroms LAST CHRISTMAS?!? Well, we still haven't sealed the grout and caulked. This project actually really stressed Adam out. He talked it over with Katie several times and with the spray can in his hand and his sleeves rolled up, he called her one last time before tackling the project. He did a great job and it looks great.
He also randomly vacuumed upstairs and cleaned the upstairs bathroom while I, well, laid in bed. He's such a great husband. He's done a great job of picking up the slack. I don't know what it is about this baby, but I'm exhausted and my body hurts way more than the other two pregnancies. I cannot wait to see what we are having! Another preparation we had to get out of the way was getting Aubrie a booster seat and fitting all 3 seats in the car. Everyone got moved around. Aubrie is now in the middle and likes to watch us drive. Emilie is behind the driver now. The baby will be behind the passenger so I can reach back there if I need to. But I doubt I will need to because as you can see in the picture below, Aubrie has some long legs and arms and she can easily reach the baby for me. She'll be such a great helper.
So that is about it. It's been slow, but busy around here. We've enjoyed all the rain this past week and it looks like we will be getting some more. I'm back to the senior water aerobics class since it is inside. Outside was getting too hot for me and since the weather was touch and go, I thought I would stay inside with my friends. :)
I hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!
