My picture's on the wall...

Yep.  My picture's on the wall at Kohls.  Mine and my daughters.  We are no longer welcome back...at least it feels that way.  Here's the problem.  Adam and I went there (without children) the day after Thanksgiving for some killer deals and we got some Kohl's cash which means spend 30, get 15 off.  Well, I could get 60 dollars off my purchase but it expires today.  We had some problems to begin with because I never did get my Kohls cash in an email like I was supposed to and so I thought I would just go to customer service and they could look it up and print it for me.  Long story short, it wasn't that easy.

The girls and I found what we were looking for and got some pretty good deals.  But it was so hot in the store.  Aubrie took her sweater off, which I had to search for since she dropped it a couple of clothing racks back.  Emilie was fussy.  I was on my hands and knees at one point crawling around looking for her pacifier that she dropped.  She wanted a morning nap and when she fusses, she just says the letter E.  It's the most annoying sound.  EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.   And she holds it for the longest time.  She can even do it with a pacifier in her mouth!  And then Aubrie at one point got upset about a snack situation with her sister and went boneless on the floor.  Then we would be on one side of the store and then she needed to go potty on the OTHER side of the store.  Finally baby sister fell asleep and I got Aubrie distracted with Elmo on my phone.  THANK YOU IPHONE!!  :)  Let's just say I got a lot of dirty looks and two people rolled their eyes at me.  But when we were picking out daddy's Christmas gift from the girls (which I must say, the girls wanted something REALLY wild and I had to do a lot of convincing that daddy wouldn't like it) an old woman came up to me and told me I was a good mom.  Thank you, kind stranger.  Thank you.

So...  Dear future Kellie,
Do not go shopping with your children ever again.  Thanks.
                               Love,
                                   Present and Tired Kellie

Emilie after Kohls
To add to my Christmastime stress, I have a wreath situation.  Our old house had 4 windows in the front and our new house has 8.  But luckily, Target has the same ornaments that I put on my wreaths so I'm able to make 4 more to match my old ones!!  Except tired Kellie didn't get the right amount of red ornaments and because I waited a whole week to try and put my wreaths together, I didn't realize it until Target no longer had the ornaments anymore.  We called every Target in the middle TN area and NONE of them had them.  My sweet friend, Candice, is a Target Pharmacist and she even checked the two where she works and no dice!  Fine.  I give up.  The plan was to go to Walmart and buy random red ornaments and just make it work after I went to Kohls.  Well, as you can see, there was NO WAY I was going out after my Kohls experience.  So I planned to go out after the girls went down for bed.  But then, Candice called.  She was out shopping and found my ornaments!!!!   Thank you SOOO much Candice.  What a life saver.  I was happy to take her some of the cookies I'm going to share with you all tonight.

I love these cookies.  If you like chocolate and peppermint, than these are the cookies for you.  They have chocolate pudding mix in them and they are so moist!

Getting ready for bed

He looks innocent, but he's not.

I hope you all are having good luck with all your holiday shopping.  Be that stranger that compliments a struggling mom.  Hold someone's door.  Be patient.  Help a friend out.  And most importantly, remember Christ's birth and how it changed the world.  Merry Christmas.  Love to all!!
