I'm here, just on the chandelier...

Sorry I missed a post yesterday.  Yesterday we got an offer on the house and we had to counter offer, yada yada.  Can you believe it!  We finally settled on a price today and this old house is no more.  The only problem is I'm now homeless.  At least that is how it feels.  We went and looked at homes today but my expectations are so high and Adam says I'm like Nancy Drew when I'm looking at homes.  I open drawers, look in shadowy places, and crawl around.  We feel like we just weren't paying attention when we bought this house and had to fix so many things.  Now we just want to move in to something that is ready and almost perfect.  We think we found one, but we'll have to see. 

It's amazing how things just fall in place and how God had his hands in all this.  All in one day, we found out we have a contract on our house and Adam found out what his raise was so we could move forward and pick out a new house.  God is good!

In the meantime, things have been good.  Friday the buyers called to walk through the house one last time and only gave me 15 minutes notice.  I negotiated for 30.  They pulled up to the house and Petey was loose in the front yard, doing some business, the girls were in the car watching Elmo, and I was running around looking for Petey's collar and leash.  Maybe they made an offer since I looked so scrambled and pathetic.  Ha! 

Aubrie's been just running around and talking about anything and everything.  When we pulled up to the Y, she said "Hi friends!  It's Aubrie Jane and baby sista!!!"

Emilie's been wild lately.  She'll climb anything and anybody.  She loves to still anything Aubrie is playing with. 






This is Emilie's bunny.  It is her favorite.  (Aubrie has one too, but pink.) You'll go pick her up after her nap and she'll have it by the ear.  If you try to take it from her and leave it in the crib, she'll start crying.  She has to carry it downstairs with her and that is somewhat dangerous.  Our big red dog loves any stuffed animal that he shouldn't have.  And don't you DARE think about sitting her down or try to change a diaper after a nap either because she loves to be held and cuddle for at least 5 minutes after a nap.  You can get a bunny for your little one on Etsy at Auntie Jill's shop.  Her link is on my right side margin under favorite shops or you can just search for it at www.etsy.com .
