Still here, just slacking

I missed another day of posting and I really don't want to.  I would like to be cooking, trying new recipes, taking pictures with my new camera, and telling you funny stories of my day to day adventures, but none of that is happening.  I'm fighting the trenches of home selling/buying right now.  We had our inspection today for our house.  Now the buyers are having a termite guy and a contractor come by tomorrow at two different times to look at the crawlspace.  Lucky for us, we knew there was old/minor termite damage and we have had termite bait stations for the past 3 years.  I am pretty confident that will all turn out fine.

Last night we went and looked at houses at five.  With the girls being on schedule and like to eat around five (so do we), it was hard to go look at houses and fight off two hungry and fussy girls.  But we narrowed down our search and we will see how it all works out.  We know that God has a plan and that is so comforting.  I just wish He would share the details with me.  :)

Yesterday I took the girls to go visit some dear friends at a former school I worked at.  It was good to see everyone and visit.  My friend Laura is the guidance counselor there and she has a couch in her office and lots of toys, so the girls made themselves at home and had a good ole time.  Then we wandered down to the giant library to see my friend Joanna and Aubrie thought she died and gone to heaven.  There was a first grade class in there doing a lesson and my wild child was running around and making growling noises and jumping all over the furniture and gaming chairs.  She LOVED the library.  When the teacher came to pick up her class and lined them up, Aubrie walked over there and started shouting out orders and was saying "right now!" and stomping her foot.  They were all watching her and giggling and she didn't care.  My friends think she'll be a good teacher one day.  She left the building by passing out dinosaur kisses to all.

Dinosaur kisses are new and we just made them up last week.  She really likes to RAWR like a dinosaur and watches the PBS program Dinosaur Train.  So one day when she wouldn't give me a kiss and was playing hard to get, I lured her in with a dinosaur kiss.  It's easy, but scary.  All you do is RAWR as you lean in and then plant a kiss.  Now everyone gets one!  We try and not RAWR too vicious when we kiss baby sister.

Emilie is starting to cruise along the furniture.  She's holding onto the couch and making her way around.  She's a pretty happy girl and when we are outside, you can tell she is just dying to get off the deck and go chase her sister.  She keeps crawling to the edge and Adam keeps picking her up and putting her back in the center.  It won't be long!

I hope everyone is doing well.  If you see that I missed a post, just know that I am probably dealing with somebody's realtor or problem.  I hope we make it through this alive!  :)
Love to all! Pin It Now!
