I don't know much about sushi. I had two co-workers who loved it and ate it when we would go out, but I've always been wary. But then I learned that there is sushi with cooked meats in it, so it's not too weird. Today the lady at Kroger got me. I was just looking around the deli section and she came up to me with a sample for crunchy shrimp roll. It was delicious, so I bought one and had it for dinner. I need to learn more about sushi!
I also play a game on my IPhone called Sushi go round and it was quite addicting. I can make sushi like a pro on my IPhone, but I don't think that counts as learning more about sushi. :)
We had a good day today. We had a nice service at church. The minister asked, what do you do with God's blessings and the leftovers? Lately that has been the case. God has blessed us so much and we have many blessings to spare for leftovers. I hope that I use my blessings to help others. I'm so thrilled we sold our house and we have the opportunity to get something bigger. How exciting!
We broke a record today in our house. We got ready for church REALLY early. That never happens. I'm usually the last one down the stairs, dragging Aubrie behind me. Sometimes my makeup isn't on yet and I apply it in the car. But today we were ready early and enjoyed each other as we got ready. I took the opportunity to take a couple of family pictures.
But I guess getting up early instead of sleeping in, takes its toll later when daddy's tired and Aubrie's ready to wrestle.
After naps we went to the Y to go swimming. (When I say naps, I mean Emilie napped and Aubrie sang/jumped on the bed) We didn't last too long because it was windy and only 87 and the water was cold. Aubrie even asked to get out. Her lips were blue and she was shivering. We had leftovers for dinner and then chaos struck.
Emilie was fussy from only having one nap. Adam was on the phone with his parents. Aubrie was outside and wanted to play. I was putting food away. Then Aubrie ran in and said she needed to use the bathroom (shooey) and Adam did that while on the phone. Once he got that done and was getting ready to sit back down, he realized he had shooey on his shorts and all down his arm. Who knows how that happened. Lots of fun!
Before we go, here is a picture of my little niece, Lindsey. (Robbie's little girl) Isn't she precious!
Love to all!
