Both girls had a good day at school. Roy's Ark was there today and the kids got to go see his portable petting zoo. They pet goats, lambs, ducks, doves, chickens, rabbits, and snakes. I only got one picture of Emilie because she wanted me to hold her the whole time. But I got a lot of pictures of Aubrie and her friends. It's so fun to watch her in that setting.
Here is Emilie checking out Roy's pig |
Here's Aubrie's class. The teacher on the left is Ms. Cynthia and the one of the right is Ms. Christy |
Aubrie was hugging on Holden (orange stripes) in between animals |
The other day Adam came home from work and he asked Aubrie how her day was. She responded, "good." And then she was quiet and said, "How was your day, dad?"
It was so grown up sounding! She is continuing to knock our socks off every day with something new. She's got the pledge of allegiance down pat. She practices it every evening with her dad before they brush their teeth.

A lot of big things are coming up this weekend. We are getting our new mattress (that bucked off Emmie) tomorrow. We'll be visiting the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Then Sunday is the 6th Annual Apple Pie Bake-off where we'll be fighting for the coveted trophy and honor to host it at our house next year. I would tell what I'm going to make, but my competition might be reading this. :)
I do want to say congrats to Steve and Brittany! They are new homeowners in the state of Florida! We're so happy you FINALLY closed on your house. They have gone through quite a hassle, but they made it. Steve (Adam's college roommate and teammate) actually called the other night to express his concern and jealousy over Brad and Adam's friendship. But I told Steve that he is still number one because he has lived with Adam for four years and he has seen him naked. Hahaha.
Love to all!
