Today was a special day. We met up with Aubrie's classmates at the park today. We tried to get together with all of them, but with other plans, and vacations, we only got two guys plus Aubrie. You've all heard about our buddy Teague from zoo trips and library run-ins. Our other friend is Holden. Holden is a giant of a sweetheart. He's such a big guy who is already half the size of his mom! And he's already grown this summer! We were all excited to see each other. And of course, I selfishly had a good time visiting with the mom's on the park bench. Holden has a brand new baby sister and Teague's little brother was there, so Emilie had some company. But she is at a point that she wants to get down and run around as well. It won't be long. Sigh. Boot camp week at the Y is over finally. Emilie passed with flying colors. I now feel comfortable enough to drop her off for an hour class if I wanted to. Now I just need to find a class that goes along with our napping schedule. Baby steps. In this week of working out every day, I have dropped five pounds. I've had to drink a lot of water to keep up. It's been awfully hot.
