Ironing Olympics

Can you iron with one of these attached to your leg???

I can.  I've had the ironing board out since last weekend.  The problem is, Adam dirties his clothes and I have a couple of things left and before you know it, I might as well do this week's laundry and iron those clothes too!  I think they should have house wife Olympics.  I would win ironing.  Hands down.  I used to do it when I was in middle school and high school.  I would charge people 80 cents a shirt, I think.  A dollar for pants.  I had two or three people who would bring me laundry baskets full of clothes and I would iron them and call them when they were ready and they would bring me another load.  I got to be pretty quick.

Now I have Adam's clothes to iron.  His 6'8" frame requires pretty long pants and some long sleeves.  So I feel like every time I iron something, I'm always doing a little extra.  Short people have it so easy.  At the ironing Olympics, you can have obstacles, like things turned inside out.  Difficult fabrics and pleats.  Or crying, teething children attached to your leg.  :)

It was another regular day in our house.  The girls and I made a Costco run and we went to the Y.  Emilie is a Y champion now.  Sometimes she fusses when I leave, but she plays and has a good time.  Aubrie likes to yell "goodbye everybody!  Thank you!" when we leave.  It continues from the children's area, up the stairs, through the lobby, and out into the parking lot.  Everyone gets a "bye everybody!".  So I will leave you all with a genuine Aubrie "goodbye everybody!!!"
Love to all! Pin It Now!
