date night!

Sorry I missed yesterday's post.  I had a date night with my love.  We went to dinner and then saw the new Harry Potter movie.  It was really good.  I have read all the books, and Adam has seen all the movies.  We had a good time.  Some of our volleyball girls watched our princesses for us.  The girls were well behaved and had a good time.  We ordered them a pizza and we were told they ate like little linebackers.  :)

Here is Emilie being goofy at the breakfast table this morning.  She's such a cutie.  She's been crawling so quickly.  She'll be discovering the stairs before we know it. Hopefully she's getting more teeth pretty soon.  She loves table food, but can't chew that well.  She did good in the church nursery today.  Adam dropped her off and she cried, but was then fine.  When Adam picked her up, they said she cried the last five minutes.  She had the meanest look on her face when he brought her into the hallway.  Her eyebrows were furrowed and she just glared at me.  I took her out of Adam's arms and she started crying and reaching for him.  She was mad at ME!  Poor Emilie.  We made up later.

Aubrie picked out some new fall boots.  Last year I waited until it was cool outside to try and find her some boots and I had a really hard time.  I can't believe how early they put clothes out for the next season.  So I went to Target the other day and they had some boots out and she picked these out.  She likes wearing them around the house.  She wore them at the breakfast table this morning.

This evening I had the pleasure of taking two of my volleyball girls out to dinner to give them their graduation gifts.  I coached Lauren and Caroline when they were 14.  They were my first team that I coached on my own.  We ended up going to Nationals in Minneapolis, MN.  Both Lauren and Caroline are playing in college next year and I'm so proud of them.  I know they will work hard, study hard, and be successful.  Their teams are so lucky to be gaining them as teammates.  I will definitely miss watching these girls play in high school.  The years have flown by.  We love you Lauren and Caroline!!
