Look out mingos!

It was zoo day today!  We met up with Aubrie's friend from school, Teague for a fun day at the zoo.  I enjoy spending time with Teague's mom, Marcie so it is perfect that those two love getting together as well.  It made for a really nice day but a little on the muggy side.  That didn't stop these two from running around!

This is the tunnel to the meerkats.  You can peek up and you are inside the meerkat exhibit.  Teague has a baby brother (6 months) named Trace.  Teague took on the responsibility of pushing Trace all around the zoo today.  He's much better at steering a stroller than Aubrie.  Aubrie has been known to push baby sister into a wall or car.  But Teague could navigate a stroller like a pro.  He cracked me up because we would be walking and he would stop to take a sip out of his juice cup, and then keep chugging along!

Emilie enjoyed the zoo most of the way, but towards the end she was content by being reclined and gradually fell asleep.  This was one of her better zoo trips.  As I may have mentioned before, many of my zoo trips end with me holding both kids and pushing the double stroller with my stomach.  Classy.

It was good to have Adam home today.  We did our usual Friday night Mexican restaurant.  Emilie is such a table food hog.  She LOVED tonight's rice and beans with chicken.  She even tried to use the spoon herself.
