"Gaga, I'm here!" Aubrie said as we pulled up to the cottage. I personally thought we would never get here. The girls were really good on the way up. Aubrie hates napping in her carseat, so Adam's 6'8" frame crawled back and sat between the girls and made everything better. There's not any good internet service out here, so I'm typing this on my iphone, using a keyboard that is made for an ipad. Tomorrow, when we are not so tired, we are going to find a better solution. The pictures on my camera only talk to my computer. But my computer doesn't want to talk to the iphone.
Gaga said, "you guys and you iphone, gphones, and diaper pads..."
Aubrie got out of the car and ran around. We got here just in time to unpack and give the girls a bath. Tomorrow she will get to get in the water. Petey got here 2 hours after us (he rode with Adam's parents) and he managed to get in the water for a quick swim. We worried about him riding with them because sometimes he can be sneaky when you stop to let him out to walk and do business.
The year that Adam had knee surgery and was on crutches, we stopped at a gas station in a small town. He managed to get lose from me and he ran all through that town. He ran through parking lots and I even chased him through a cemetery. Luckily he ran up to a gas station and two strangers grabbed him for me. Man, I never have hated him more. We can laugh about him now.
Hopefully we can figure everything out tomorrow and can post pictures and share more. I hope everyone who is traveling for the weekend got to their destinations safely.
Love to all!
